Fight Week

The Rematch for the Heavyweight Title in the sport of Boxing is set for Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk defends his crown against the best big-man in Boxing of this generation, Tyson Fury. After such a closely contested Fight this past May, which saw Usyk narrow out a Split-Decision, there's high anticipation for Saturday in the desert.

Less than 7 months ago we witnessed the first 'Undisputed' Heavyweight Championship Boxing Match since 1999, which saw Usyk nearly stop Fury in Rd. 9, after a flurry of combinations to the kisser had the 6'9 Englishman on queer street. The change in tide during the Bout however, came when it seemed Fury was in complete control during the middle Rounds, following massive uppercuts (including to the body) which seemed to really hurt the former Light Heavyweight Champ.

Fury also recovered brilliantly in similar fashion which has made him a legend in the Sport during many a Contest, howbeit the end result witnessed the Ukrainian lifting up all the gold. While legendary is certainly a word befitting of Usyk and his claim of the Heavyweight throne, following a long reign as Boxing's best Light Heavyweight.

We'd mentioned previously how Usyk's already joined some pretty elite company, becoming the first Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion since Roy Jones Jr. to move up to Boxing's biggest Weight Class and capture the Title. Fury could quite possibly even top that tomorrow, for a Win would mark a 3rd Heavyweight Championship Reign for the native of England, joining Muhammad Ali.

Prediction for Saturday: (other than the fans winning of course) Can see the Fight going different ways. Had you asked me earlier in the week, would have predicted another razor thin Contest. Money line even has a handsome payout for a Draw (which is how I scored the first Bout). But as the Match approaches, I'm seeing an intensity in Fury's eyes and demeanor similar to the Rematch with Deontay Wilder in 2020 (after their first Fight ended in a Draw). Have a feeling the almost 300 Pound Fury's gunning for the Knockout this time around. Something about Tyson Fury and Rematches.

OFFICIAL PREDICTION: Fury by Desicion (setting up a rubber Match)/may even stop him late to become new Undisputed.
