 It's fight night in the 305!! Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua goes down tonight in M.I.A. While in the undercard, there will be a fun featured bout between MMA Legend Anderson Silva & former UFC Welterweight Champ Tyron Woodley.

A proposito di Fun, we've taken Son Los Marlins Internationally of late. We had some fun gathering up an Italian-American Squad to represent Marlins-Italia in Team History. So in the words of the Italian Stallion; "It's cold outside Paulie".

From Carl Pavano to Nathan Eovaldi to Zac Gallen. There is certainly talent in abbondanza to go around in the Marlins/Italy Starting Rotation. Adding Left-Hander Justin Nicolino & former Florida Gator Anthony Desclafani (whom both came to the Fish in the same Trade) to back end. 

The Bullpen will be lead by former Marlins Closer Dylan Floro (whom as many on this Roster, I had no idea was of Italian decent). Former Teammate/Current Marlin Andrew Nardi would make for the perfect set-up man. While the rest of the Italy-Fish Pen will also feature Sothpaws Anthony Veneziano (2024-'25) & Ron Villone ('05).

Pat Venditte couldn't just throw from the left-side, the only 'Switch-Pitcher' in modern MLB History could also flip it in there as a Righty. Jason Grilli pitched in parts of 15 Years in the Big Leagues, the start of that in Florida. While Teammate Dan Micili ('00-'01) pitched in 14 Seasons in The Show himself.

Nick Vincent was a very underrated peice to the 2020 Marlins Bullpen, while Daniel Barone (no relation to Raymond), began and capped his tenure with the Fish in '07. Daniel Castano was an effective swingman for the Fish after breaking into the Bigs in 2020, and is of both Argentine and Italian heritage.

You're not gonna have an Italian Squad in Marlins lore and not include Hall of Fame Catcher Mike Piazza. While speaking of masked All-Stars, J.T. Realmuto & Paul Lo Duca etrambi have Italian Heritage.

The Marlins-Italia Infield will feature Jon Berti (whom we'd originally placed on Marlins Team U.S.A), Steve Lmbardozzi Jr. and Deven Marrero. Out in the Italain Outfield we'll have Justin Ruggiano, 1997 World Series Champ John Cangelosi and Vinny 🇰🇷 Rottino.
