 With the 2021 Campaign coming down to it's final days for our Marlins, a lot of Player moves are forthcoming as it pertains to the 40 Man Roster mere days after Season's end. This is a traditional practice for all Clubs who aren't going to be part of Postseason play and even for some who will be playing deep into October. Shedding guys off the Roster who will not be part of Teams' plans moving forward, while at the same time scooping up Players that a Club values differently than others on Waivers, is something that goes unnoticed every Fall. Here at Son Los Marlins we will break up the 40 Man Roster in half's. Today we'll start on the Pitching side of things and what the Marlins may or may not think of it's Team moving into the Off-Season. Remember, someone like Sixto Sánchez who has been Injured virtually all year long, means the Marlins will have to add him again to the Active Roster at Season's end. The Miami Herald had an article out yesterday ranking some of the most disappointing Seasons in Marlins history. The 2021 Season certainly made their list in what has certainly been a "disappointing" , 'frustrating', and many times just plain 'odd' year in regards to management of the Marlins Roster. This management, or better yet, mismanagement, of the Team's Transactions however, is not new to 2021.   This Fish Front Office made 'the' worst Trade in Franchise History months after being given the reigns to the Club back in 2017. A Trade the Marlins can not move on from   4 years and counting 👴  now. But just as the Front Office brass envisioned, Lewis Brinson starts in the Outfield and Hits right smack dab in the middle of the Team's Batting Order, every single day. Sin lugar a duda el 2021 fue un año perdido para Brian Anderson. 2 veces sufrió una subluxación en su brazo izquierdo. 3 veces cayó a la lista de lesionados, y solo jugó en 67 Juegos. Gerente General Kim Ng hablo antes que le Temporada comenzara sobre Anderson y la posibilidad de un Contrato a largo plazo con el Marlin más consistente de los últimos 3 años. “Sobre los términos con Brian (Anderson) no he hablado con su Agente todavía” dijo Ng en Diciembre. “Les diré que personalmente, me gustaría ver cómo va este año (’21), antes de aventurar por ese camino”.. 2 temas puede sacar uno de ahí. 1, los Marlins no podrían basarse sobre éste año con Anderson obviamente.   The Jupiter Hammerheads, the Marlins A-Ball affiliate, hold a 2 Game lead in their East S.E Division with 3 to play. I had an opportunity yesterday to catch a very near 5 hour thriller in Port St. Lucie Florida between the Hammerheads & 2nd Place PSL Mets. A Ballgame that gave me ample opportunity to see Victor Mesa Jr's exiting style of play. To see 18 year old Shortstop Jose Salas continue his first Pro-Season. And to see an Undrafted Paul McIntosh continue to burst on to the Prospect scene.   The ball makes a different sound off Paul McIntosh's bat.  McIntosh, a multi-position baseball athlete out of West Virginia, went undrafted during this past summer's Baseball Amateur Draft. How and why are beyond me. McIntosh has legit raw power coming off his bat, a College approach at the plate, and can really fly. He spanked 4 hits last night (Including a Triple off the Right Center Field wall) and drove in 3. Paul McIntosh, a name to keep an eye on Marlins fans, for sure.

24-50. That is the 2021 Marlins Road Record with only a Road-Trip left on the Schedule. 38-34.. That equals the Club's Record in Little Havana heading into Friday night.. Almost a Colorado Rockies like disparity for these Marlins between Road & Home. You can see why Denver, which has always been known as a Hitter's Paradise, hosts such Home Field advantage for a Rockies Team this year (and always) whose 45-27 at Home, as opposed to 23-51 on the Road. Colorado is known for it's high altitude, humongous Outfield, and lower air density which allows the baseball to absolutely fly. But Miami?!   2014 marked the 1st of 6 non-Losing Seasons in Miami for the Home Team, despite the Marlins finishing all 6 Years with an overall losing mark. loanDepot Park too, has about as expanded an Outfield as there is in the League.  Como vuela el tiempo. Quien hubiese pensado que en solo 3 semanas cortas la Temporada 2021 se acabará.. Una Temporada que empezó con mas expectaciones de lo que han podido lograr nuestros Marlins... Pero aunque la Postemporada, una Campaña Ganadora, la habilidad de mantenerse competitivos en la División, todo se la haya ido al Equipo este año, aquí en Son Los Marlins les pondremos una meta a los muchachos con solo 19 Juegos pendientes. 13 Victorias. No, no hablo de un doce, mas una, de Serveza 🍻 Mexicana 🇲🇽. Hablo de 13 Juegos Ganados. Con una racha mínima de 13-6, los Marlins evitarían las 90 Derrotas que ha plagado el Equipo cada Temporada completa desde que los nuevos (ya ni tanto) Propietarios compraron el Club hace 4 años.   Llegarían a 73 Triunfos, algo que se ha hecho solo 3 veces desde el 2011!!! Or the 3 Amigos movie with Steve Martin & Chevy Chase. 3, as in Lewis Brinson, Jorge Alfaro, and Isan Diaz. 3, as in the number of Organization's each Player has been a part of by the age of 25.  We'll start with our friend 'Issaaaaan' Diaz, who was a 2nd Round Draft Pick back in 2014 by the Arizona Diamondbacks. After only 1 full Professional Season in the Desert's Farm System, Diaz was part of the Jean Segura Trade that shipped them to Milwaukee for Chase Anderson & Aaron Hill prior to the 2016 Season.  Diaz was the Brewers' 2016 Minor League Player of the Year after popping 20 Homers in Wisconsin (the Mid-West League). That of course before struggling to the tune of a .222 Batting Average a year later in High-A (Carolina).  No worries, Isan was part of the now very infamous Christian Yelich Trade after 2017, though the struggles in Miami's System continued (a .232 Hitter in both Double-A & Triple-A in 2
