Sure the 1998 Florida Marlins Lost 108 Games, after a complete Team Fire 🔥 Sale of the 1997 World Championship Squad. A Fire Sale that included SIXTEEN Players on the '97 Marlins that were Traded in 12 separate Deals made by the time the '98 Trading Deadline had arrived. Said Fire 🔥 Sale coupled with all of the losses did HOWEVER open the door to the likes of Alex Gonzalez, Ryan Dempster, Luis Castillo, Preston Wilson, and Derek Lee, none established in the Big Leagues in 1998 (Year 1 of a Rebuild), and all future All-Stars. The 2013 Marlins also suffered a 100 Loss Season, which ALSO occurred during the 1st Year of a Rebuild (get the picture). Following Trades of All-Stars Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, Josh Johnson, Heath Bell, Omar Infante, John Buck, Gaby Sanchez, and future All-Star Edward Mujica.
