Can only get better from here.

No way around it. The Marlins have started the Season pretty much as bad as it gets in the Win/Loss column. A straight O for 5 to commence 2024. Frustration was palpable inside the Marlins Dugout last night. A 4 Game Sweep at the hands of the Pittsburgh Pirates was followed by a 7-4 Loss to the Angels to commence a new Series and the month of April, all at Home. The Marlins lost a 3 Run Lead on Opening Day, a 5 Run Advantage on Sunday, and a 4-0 start to yesterday's Game. The Shutdown Inning from their Starters has been nonapparent each time the Fish have scored first, from Jesus Luzardo on Opening Day, to Trevor Rogers & Max Meyer having both been given big leads in the First Inning. Not to mention short Starts from A.J Puk & David Weathers.  The Marlins Offense is the one that does seem to shutdown after some early hot starts. The Fish bats went 0-14 over the final 6 Innings on Opening Day in route to their 12 Inning Defeat against the Bucs. Yesterday, the Club did not

After a long Spring Training which featured more than it's fair share of Injuries to the Rotation, conjoining with complete resurgences of health for Pitchers comparable to Sixto Sanchez of all Marlins. A Spring that included some (for lack of better words, or maybe just to be nice) odd/senseless comments at times from Jazz 👽 Chisholm during a podcast sit-down interview with The Pivot , in addition to a 3 Home Run stretch in 3 consecutive At Bats over the 2 Games for the Fish Center Fielder before the conversation was shared. A Camp which included lots of Hits from (no surprise) Luis Arraez, plenty of Strikeouts from A.J Puk & David Weathers, and welcoming additions headlined by Tim Anderson & Nick Gordon injected into the Marlins Lineup. Opening Day is today in Miami. The Marlins, through it all in Jupiter, truly seem as ready as they can be all things considered to face the Pirates to start the Season, and here's one of the reasons why.   The Fish knew they'd the

March madness 💧💧! 2 Spring Training Games got wiped out yesterday over a little rain some 20 minutes down the road from each other. Marlins Games against the Cardinals & Nationals in Jupiter and West Palm Beach were both Cancelled. The Fish will be back in Grapefruit League action tonight in the first Game under the Jupiter lights this Spring against the Yankees. Son Los Marlins will be in the house!   College Baseball also had a few weather interruptions this weekend around the Country. Georgia had a Game which they were leading at the time 9-3 over Georgia Tech, called in the 5th Inning due to the skies opening up in the Peach State on Friday. Whatever happens with that Friday Contest doesn't delude the Bulldogs' (who went on to take the next 2 over the Yellow Jackets) start to the Season.  The SEC's Georgia, much like Kentucky, the ACC's Duke & North Carolina, along with the Big 12's TCU, have really impressed in the early going of the College Basebal

...   Marlins Full Squad has reported and gotten in their first Official Workout of 2024 Spring Training. Major League Exhibition Games kickoff this weekend in both Florida and Arizona. Opening Day is at the end of next month. Baseball season is here!   Furthermore on that baseball front, College Baseball kicked off this past Friday. There've been a few upsets in the NCAA world. Just last night #1 Ranked Wake Forest went down to the University of North Carolina GREENSBORO Trojans. Those so called 'Vandy Boys' dropped Saturday's contest to the FAU Owls and darn near lost that Opening Series at Home, before going down again last night to the University of Dayton Flyers. It's certainly baseball season baybay!! We hinted we'd begin to touch a little on Combat Sports here at Son Los Marlins. Though new UFC Featherweight Champion Ilia Topuria did more than touch up former Champion Alexander Volkanovski en route to a 2nd Rd. Knock Out Saturday. (Btw, Topuria was not born i

2 words which signals spring is here for any Baseball fan, Pitchers & Catchers. With the first Uniformed workout (for Pitchers & Catchers) in the books today for the 2024 Marlins Campaign, and with many players having already trickled into Jupiter early this week. It's that time of year again.   It's also been a busy week on the Transaction side for the Fish. Granted, the Marlins have not signed a single Major League Free Agent Contract as Camp opens, but that hasn't stopped new President Peter Bendix from piecing together the final few 40 Man Roster spots. The most shrewd of said moves may have come this past Super Bowl Sunday, when the Marlins flipped Arbitration Eligible Reliever Steven Okert to Minnesota for once Top-Prospect Nick Gordon. Avon Park's own Nick Gordon is the younger brother of former Marlins All-Star/Batting Champion/Gold Glover/Silver Slugger/Stolen Base leader Dee Gordon. The younger Gordon is coming off an Injury (broken shin bone) in May

As the 2024 Major League Baseball Season draws ever so near (Pitchers & Catchers for most Big League Teams report in about 2 weeks), you can begin to hear gloves smack in backfields of Spring Training complexes. The cracks of bats, the enthusiasm of fans (FanFest was this past Friday in Miami), the shiny sunny skies of spring. For the Marlins, the wind howling from the Jupiter shores. Spring Training is always special. If 2 weeks however is too long of a wait to commence your baseball fix, the 'Serie del Caribe' kicks off in Miami this morning. The 2024 rendition of the Caribbean Series will be played in the United States for the first time since 1991, and will be held in a Major League facility for the first time ever (if you exclude PR's Hiram Bithorn Stadium which hosted quite a few Expos Games in the early 2000's). Son Los Marlins covered  las t  year's  Caribbean Tourney broadly , which was ultimately Won by the Dominican Republic in Venezuela. La Serie d
