It's a shame.

  If the old baseball song 'Take me out the Ballgame' ever rung more veracious today for the Marlins, it'd have to be the part where it goes "If they don't win it's a Shame". Because I don't think there's a better word to describe the Fish right now, than shame. Shame that the Marlins stand here today with a record of 6-23, after just making the Playoffs last Season. Shame, that they blew a 7 to Nothing Lead to the Washington Nationals yesterday afternoon. Shame that the Marlins have yet to win a single Series in 2024. And what's probably the most shameful part into what's become the worst start of a Season in Marlins History, is what the Organization has done and probably will do in the near future to mitigate such a disaster.   With the Marlins in absolute full self destruction mode thanks to the guidance of Owner Bruce Sherman, President of Baseball Operations Peter Bendix, Manager Skip Schumaker and plenty of Players who can't bat their weight & a lot of Pitchers with ERA's over 6. HOW TO FIX THE MARLINS?

The Miami Herald had an article out yesterday ranking some of the most disappointing Seasons in Marlins history. The 2021 Season certainly made their list in what has certainly been a "disappointing" , 'frustrating', and many times just plain 'odd' year in regards to management of the Marlins Roster. This management, or better yet, mismanagement, of the Team's Transactions however, is not new to 2021.   This Fish Front Office made 'the' worst Trade in Franchise History months after being given the reigns to the Club back in 2017. A Trade the Marlins can not move on from   4 years and counting 👴  now. But just as the Front Office brass envisioned, Lewis Brinson starts in the Outfield and Hits right smack dab in the middle of the Team's Batting Order, every single day. What they probably didn't envision, is for Brinson to have a Career WAR of -3.3, Three Hundred and Thirty-Five Games into his Big League Career.  It's not like the guy he
