Jupiter Academy

 Present/Here!! It was roll call time in Marlins Camp this week. I was able to make the trek down to Jupiter, FL this morning to visit what the Fish are calling the newly renovated "Jupiter Academy". There was a ribbon cutting on Monday, as the first official Full Squad workouts for the 2026 Marlins took place. There were also tours to the upgraded facility on Wednesday the 11th, when Pitchers & Catchers commenced. Spring Training has arrived. The Fish begin Exhibition play on Saturday vs the Team they met last in '25 in the New York Metropolitans (whom were Eliminated from Postseason contention on the final day of the Regular Season by the Marlins, AGAIN!!!). Coming off a 17 Win improvement in 2025, expectations are definitely higher heading into '26 in South Florida.    As we take a quick break from our All-International Marlins breakdowns heading into the World Baseball Classic. To commence the new year, the Fish did trade 2 Starting Pitchers whom were Arbitration eligible ($)/Hurlers whom also came with plenty of Injury history. The UFC makes its Paramount debut in a little over a week's time. The Miami Hurricanes are playing for a College Football National Champ ionship on Monday for the first time in 22 Years! I'm coming back myself from an amazing European trip with my Suomi brothers in the north!! We'll get into all of it, but in the words of the great Peter Griffin, "You know what really grinds my gears"? What the back to back Defending Champion Florida Panthers did, or better yet, didn't have the balls to do yesterday.  We're certainly living in (for lack of a better word) interesting times these days. MEXICO MARLINS

   Un hecho cuál tal vez no sabían/poco conocido, Los Marlins como Campeones Defensores en el Béisbol año 2004, fueron a la Ciudad de México para Jugar 2 Partidos de Pre-Temporada. Obvio microbio que los Marlins salieron de México Invictos 😉.  Hoy le toca turno á México en nuestra serie de Seleccionados Marlins, cuál representará a 10 Países con 8 diferentes Escuadras. La siguente lista de Peloteros recorrieron el Sur de la Florida de una forma u otra. Comencemos con el líder dentro la Historia de la Franquicia en Victorias, Ponches, y Entradas, Carlos Enrique (mejor conocido como) Ricky Nolasco. Así es, el Lanzador cuál duró parte de 8 años con los Marlins, es de sangre Mexicana. Nolasco también encabeza los más Strikeouts dentro de un Juego para el Equpio con 16, y menos bases por bolas por cada 9 Innings, con tasa de solamente 2.093. Ricky Nolasco fue el primer Marlin (y solamente uno de 2) en Ponchar a 9 Bateadores consecutivos, sobrando solamente uno para el récord ...
